He has been a precinct chair, election judge, and Treasurer of both the Texas GOP and Tarrant County GOP. A strong supporter of President Trump, Fred has been in the trenches for decades, electing conservative Republicans and stopping the radical left agenda.

Fred Tate has delivered conservative results for Texas time and time again. In every leadership role he has held, from the Judicial Conduct Commission to the Trinity River Authority, Fred has proven he can cut through bureaucracy, expose what politicians try to hide, and deliver results for taxpayers.

Faith, Family, and Community

Fred and his wife Jill — the slated President of the Texas Federation of Republican Women — have been married for 21 years and live in Colleyville with their son Sawyer and two Labradors, Junior and Artemis.

They attend White’s Chapel Church and actively support Patriot PAWS Service Dogs, the Colleyville Lions Club, GRACE Grapevine, Ranch Hands Rescue, Bob’s House of Hope, and the Justice Center.
