Dear Neighbor,

I hope you and your family are well. I know how busy life can be, but I hope you’ll take a moment to learn more about my husband, Fred, who is running to be the next State Representative for our area.

Before I tell you why Fred is the most qualified conservative, let me tell you a little about our family.

Fred and I met our freshman year at Baylor University during a Young Conservatives of Texas (YCT) event. I still remember the day. We participated in a mock debate on school funding. Fred argued for the conservative position, and I was assigned to play devil’s advocate. Fred won the debate, on the merits anyway.

We were married in 2004, and our son, Sawyer, was born in 2009. Northeast Tarrant County has been our home for the past 21 years. We believe there is no better community to raise Sawyer with values rooted in faith, family, and freedom.

Our family is deeply blessed. After years in the corporate finance world, Fred launched CFO Shield, helping over 100 small businesses with growth-focused financial strategies. Owning a business that creates jobs and helps other entrepreneurs succeed has always been Fred’s dream.

For our family, fighting for conservative values is not just a talking point, it’s our calling. Fred served as State Chairman for the Young Conservatives of Texas from 1997 to 1999 and has since served the Republican Party at the local, county, and state levels, including as the Treasurer of both the Republican Party of Texas and the Tarrant County GOP.

I have been proud to serve as well. After many years as an active volunteer with the Texas Federation of Republican Women (TFRW), I was honored to be elected this year to serve as State President of TFRW – the largest Republican grassroots organization in the country.

When Fred and I talked about him continuing his service to our state in a new role, I knew that it was the right thing to do.

At Governor Abbott’s request, Fred has served our state since 2017 as a three-time Senate confirmed appointee. He has served on two judicial commissions, including the State Commission on Judicial Conduct, where he held bad judges accountable. Today, he serves on the Trinity River Authority fighting for taxpayers and affordable, sustainable water infrastructure for our region.

Governor Abbott has seen Fred deliver conservative results, and that’s why the Governor endorsed his campaign.

One of the things I love most about Fred is that he leads quietly. He focuses on getting the work done, not seeking credit or headlines. Those values will serve our district well in Austin, even in a world that too often rewards sound bites over substance.

Fred’s conservative priorities today are the same as when we first met at YCT over 30 years ago: securing the border, cutting taxes, reducing regulations, ensuring efficient and accountable government, protecting innocent life, defending the Second Amendment, and standing up to the radical left’s attacks on our children and family values.

I know you’re tired of the political texts, mailers, and ads. Believe me, I am too! Unfortunately, this race has become costly because a group of national Democrat megadonors are trying to infiltrate the Republican primary for Armin Mizani, desperate to advance their own self-interests after decades of Democrat defeats in Texas.

As a spouse, it’s hard to read the false attacks directed at my husband. But Fred is not deterred, and neither am I. After all, we have been in the trenches together for years fighting liberal Democrats, and we won’t stop now.

Thank you for taking the time to read my note and learn more about our family, our values and why Fred is so passionate about serving our conservative community in the Texas legislature.

Fred would be honored to earn your vote in the Republican primary on March 3rd. To learn more about Fred or his policy priorities, visit www.Tate4Texas.com.

God Bless Texas,
